Refund and Cancellation Policy
We realize that there are sometimes emergencies or other changes to your plans to attend our performances or workshops. Therefore, please see our Refund and Cancellation Policy below.
Cancellation by Ticketholder
Event Cancellation by Semi-Circle
The Semi-Circle Basel is an audience friendly organization. We recognize that there can be reasons which prevent you from attending a performance or workshop. When a paid audience member cannot attend, a refund minus handling fees will be processed within 10 business days, provided that the following conditions are met:

1) Full Refund: If the cancellation is received via email semicirclebasel@gmail.com prior to 48 hours of the performance or workshop, a full refund minus handling fees will be paid using either the method in which the original payment was processed, or via a direct credit to your bank account (if you provide the banking details in your email). It may take up to 10 business days to receive your refund.

2) Emergency Refund: If the cancellation is received via email semicirclebasel@gmail.com within 48 hours of the performance or workshop, a full refund minus handling fees will be paid provided that the paid audience member submits a medical or emergency form stating the nature of the emergency. The refund will be paid using either the method in which the original payment was processed, or via a direct credit to your bank account (if you provide the banking details in your email). It may take up to 10 business days to receive your refund.

3) Late Refund: If the cancellation is after 48 hours but before 24 hours of a performance or workshop, the ticket holder may request a 50% refund, minus handling fees.
4) No Refund: If the cancellation is within 24 hours of a performance or workshop, or, if the ticket holder is a "no show", we regretfully cannot grant a refund. Due to the nature of live theatre we have limited audience seating and therefore we must use seating available as possible.

If an event is cancelled or postponed by The Semi-Circle Basel, we will do our best to inform you of these changes using the contact details provided when you make your booking. In this case, the payment will be refunded to the ticket holders via the original payment method.
Membership Cancellation by Member
We do not refund membership fees during a calendar year. However, unused memberships in which the member is moving out of Switzerland may be considered for refund upon receipt of an email from the member and once we verify that the membership was not used for any Events during said year. This refund can take up to one month.
